Plotter Art
When the COVID-19 lockdown went into effect and all of our interactions became mediated by the screen I wanted to find new ways to make physical my digital / screen based art. These works explore procedural and generative systems that are generated algorithmically via code and plotted using high quality archival ink and paper.- https://www.jordanhochenbaum.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/PXL_20210110_084730061-1.jpg

Machine Orchestra
Founded by Ajay Kapur, The Machine Orchestra combines the idea of a laptop orchestra with musical robotics. The core lineup of performers changes on a yearly basis, with guest artists including Trimpin, Curtis Bahn, Tomie Hahn, and Perry R. I have been involved with the Machine Orchestra as a composer, performer, and instrument designer (creating Tammy, a robotic marimba instrument, together with collaborator Owen Vallis). The ensemble actively performes internationally, with concerts in Los Angeles to New Zealand. More information can be found at www.karmetik.com
