Convergence

Installation

A spherical sculpture where many streams of information converge on one point. Real-time trending tweets are synthesized through text-to-speech as you approach. Sound carries information well until enough of it overlaps, at which point it becomes an unintelligible mass. More access becomes, literally, more noise.
