Six hundred electronic records placed on a 2D grid by a Kohonen self-organizing map, arranged by spectral and temporal features rather than by label. Each square is colored by genre, so the clusters show where genres overlap and where they don’t. Presented at ISMIR 2009 in Kobe, where it was awarded Best Poster Presentation.
